Do I need to have any modeling experience?
No modeling experience required! With over 25 years of photography expertise and a background in dance, I offer professional guidance throughout your session. I’ll help you with poses that enhance your natural beauty and flatter your body. Most of my clients are new to this, but by the end of the shoot, you'll feel like a seasoned pro!
Will my photos be retouched?
Yes, after your image reveal (which takes place about one week after your session) and final selections, your final gallery images will be professionally edited and retouched to enhance your natural beauty while maintaining authenticity. Any temporary blemishes, like bruises or breakouts that will fade within two weeks, will be removed from your final images. You can request the removal of scars or stretch marks (though I think you’re beautiful just as you are!). I do not alter body shapes in Photoshop because I believe your body is perfect exactly as it is.
When will I receive my photos?
You will receive your professionally edited images within 2-3 weeks after your session. I will notify you as soon as your online gallery is ready.
Is hair and makeup provided?
Professional hair and makeup can be booked as an add-on to your session for $175. I proudly partner with Femme Akoi Beauty Studio for this service. I highly recommend this add-on to your experience as it helps you relax and get into character! Plus we have so much fun having girl talk while you're in the makeup chair.
How do I prepare for my session?
Stay hydrated, stay out of the sun to avoid harsh tan lines, and moisturize your skin. Avoid tight clothing before the session to prevent marks on your skin. A detailed preparation guide will be sent to your email and included with your proposal.
What Should I Wear for My Photoshoot?
Wear whatever makes you feel confident and beautiful. This could be a favorite outfit, something personal, or even a specific theme you have in mind. We can discuss outfit ideas during your consultation to ensure you feel your best.
Will my photos be shared online?
Your privacy is my priority. I only share photos with your explicit permission. If you prefer to keep them private, they will remain confidential.
What if I'm nervous about the session?
Feeling nervous is completely normal! My top priority is to ensure you feel comfortable so you can fully enjoy the session. We’ll play some music, have fun with different outfits, and capture your unique beauty. Whether it's branding, family portraits, or any other session, I’ll be there to guide you, hype you up, and make the experience enjoyable and memorable.
